Pete Staz and Peter Spain of Core Development have been successful at bringing a vibrant mix of retailers, including local breakfast chain Nudy’s Café and Main Line’s only all women co-working space, to Cricket Avenue in Ardmore.  In addition to these businesses, five (5) beautifully renovated apartments share this historic 2-building renovated site.  The apartments all have new, modern finishes including in-unit washer / dryers, granite countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances and new hardwood floors.  In a creative effort to “place make,” the adjacent alleyway has been converted into a greened outdoor dining area with overhanging vines and café lights.  This outdoor gathering spot doubles as alfresco dining for Nudy's Cafe during the day and a beer garden for McCloskey's Tavern at night.

The Cricket: In addition to the historic renovation of 2 E. Lancaster Avenue and 11 Cricket Avenue, The Cricket will be the latest additions to the ongoing redevelopment of Cricket Avenue in downtown Ardmore. The project is the assemblage of four 4) properties in the historic business district of Ardmore to be redeveloped into a five-story, 175,000 square-foot mixed-use building. The Cricket will include 77 luxury apartment units, 12,000 SF of retail space with outdoor dining and a 105 space parking garage. State-of-the-art amenities will include a fitness center, rooftop terrace, green roof, in-unit washers/dryers, secured covered bicycle parking, shared culinary kitchen and raised bed gardens for tenants.
